Job Title: Customs Clearance & Logistics Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Office-based role)
Duration: 24 months (extendable subject to project requirements)
Employer: Major EPC Company / International Engineering Company (Oil & Gas Sector)
Sponsorship & Employment Contract: Hired through MPH (Payroll & Employment Contract)

Work Schedule:
- On-site working hours: 9-hour shift, 6 days per week
- Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire customs clearance process to ensure timely and compliant import/export operations.
- Handle duty-exemption procedures and ensure efficient clearance of materials from customs authorities.
- Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth collection and transportation of shipments.
- Review, verify and confirm all shipping and commercial documents with vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Arrange inland transportation of materials from ports to allocated warehouses and onward to job sites as per project requirements.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and available for customs clearance and material receipt.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records related to customs and logistics activities.
- Prepare and submit weekly customs-clearance and logistics reports to track progress and identify potential issues.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics/customs-clearance within the Oil & Gas sector (EPCM background essential)
- Experience with ADNOC projects is highly preferred
- Maximum 1-month notice period
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
