About the Role
Frontier Brands (part of the Journe Brands group ) is seeking a proactive Logistics Administrator to support logistics, shipping, and documentation operations within JAFZA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth import, export, and re-export activities while maintaining full compliance with customs regulations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities;
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments via sea, air, and road freight
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouses
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders
- Arrange bookings, delivery schedules, and container movements
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Bills of Lading / Air Waybills
- Certificates of Origin
- Ensure compliance with JAFZA, UAE Customs, and Free Zone regulations
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready logistics records
JAFZA & Customs Administration
- Manage JAFZA portal transactions (gate passes, NOCs, warehouse movements)
- Coordinate customs clearance for imports, exports, and re-exports
- Support bonded and free zone stock movements
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Coordinate stock receipts, dispatches, and internal transfers
- Ensure logistics records align with warehouse systems and ERP data
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Frontier Brands HQ finance, sales, and supply chain teams
- Support verification of freight, customs, and logistics-related invoices
- Proactively escalate delays, discrepancies, or compliance risks
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of logistics and international shipping processes
- Familiarity with JAFZA operations and UAE customs procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP experience preferred
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in logistics or shipping administration
- Prior experience within JAFZA or UAE Free Zones is highly preferred
- Experience handling import, export, and re-export operations is an advantage
- English: Fluent (written and spoken), Arabic (Desirable)
