Hiring an experienced PRO – Customs Clearance & Duty Exemption to manage customs processes, government liaison, and duty exemption for imported road infrastructure materials and road accessories. This role supports smooth project execution by ensuring timely and compliant material clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customs clearance for imported road infrastructure materials and accessories
- Coordinate with Abu Dhabi Customs, ports, and clearing agents
- Manage customs duty exemption applications for road and infrastructure projects
- Ensure correct HS codes, documentation, and material descriptions
- Support clearance of steel, aluminum, road furniture, thermoplastic, paints, and chemicals
- Liaise with internal teams (procurement, finance, projects) on imports and approvals
- Maintain organized records for customs, exemptions, and contracts
Requirements
- UAE PRO experience with customs clearance exposure (mandatory)
- Construction / road infrastructure / industrial background
- Knowledge of customs duty exemption procedures in the UAE
- Arabic (spoken & written) – mandatory
- Good English communication
- Experience with ports and customs systems in Abu Dhabi
