Your Professional Opportunity
We are looking for a Procurement Officer – ELV & ICT Systems to join our organization and support the successful execution of complex system integration projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for ELV and ICT systems within a system integrator or EPC environment. You will play a key role in ensuring timely sourcing, technical compliance, cost optimization, and effective vendor coordination in line with project requirements and delivery schedules.
Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, QA/QC, and Supply Chain teams, you will contribute directly to project performance, cost control, and on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects
Role & Responsibilities
a. Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Manage procurement activities for ELV and ICT systems, including:
- CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems
- Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)
- Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems
- BMS and AV systems
- Data Networking, Wi-Fi, Servers, and Active/Passive components
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs based on approved BOQs, technical specifications, and drawings
- Evaluate technical and commercial offers in coordination with Engineering and Project teams
- Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and compliance
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure alignment with contractual terms, delivery schedules, and project milestones
b. Technical & Project Coordination
- Review vendor submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, and QA/QC teams to ensure correct material selection and approvals
- Ensure materials comply with applicable standards and authority requirements (e.g. ADNOC, Aramco, Etisalat, DEWA, ADDC, where applicable)
- Support value engineering initiatives and propose technically compliant alternative solutions when appropriate
c. Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, prequalify, and manage approved vendors, manufacturers, and distributors
- Maintain strong working relationships with OEMs and key system suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery commitments
- Proactively resolve supply chain issues, delays, and non-conformances
d. Logistics, Documentation & Reporting
- Coordinate with logistics teams for shipping, customs clearance, and site delivery
- Ensure accurate maintenance of procurement documentation, including:
- Purchase Orders
- Delivery notes
- Warranties and compliance certificates
- Support material inspections and handover documentation
- Monitor procurement budgets and cost forecasts
- Prepare procurement status reports for management and project teams
- Support audits and internal compliance processes
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement within a System Integrator or EPC environment
- Strong hands-on experience in ELV and ICT systems procurement
- Solid understanding of ELV & ICT architectures, components, and system integration principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
- Abilty to work in an international, multicultural environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the Italian language will be considered a strong plus.
