The Operations & Brand Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting operations, brand activities, and coordination with local distributors. This position ensures smooth execution across POSM management, SKU creation, business reviews, brand activations, and major industry events.
Key Responsibilities
POSM Management
- Forecast, order, and track POSM deliveries to the regional hub
- Organise POSM transfers to the local distributor
- Manage process complexities including:
- Local customs requirements
- HS codes
- Lab test reports
- Manufacturer certifications
Business Reviews
- Contribute to the preparation of business review presentations for regional leadership and brand stakeholders during market visits
New SKU Code Creation
- Complete and submit SKU creation forms provided by the local distributor for all new product launches
- Manage required information including:
- Pricing
- EAN codes
- Product photo IDs
- Allocation details
- Support the creation of approximately 40–50 new SKUs per year
Distributor Liaison
- Act as the main coordination point between the local distributor and the regional team
- Support requests requiring distributor involvement, including:
- Free-of-charge product requests
- Birthday or special occasion initiatives
- Annual allocations
- Event venue bookings
Brand & Market Visits
- Support the planning and organisation of brand and regional leadership visits within the UAE
Industry Events & Activations
- Act as the key point of contact with the local distributor and event organisers for major industry events
- Support delivery of large-scale, multi-brand events
- Host visiting global brand ambassadors and ensure smooth operational execution during their visits
Brand-Specific Commercial Support
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing teams to track numeric distribution progress for priority brands
- Work closely with Sales and Category teams to monitor weekly distribution performance in on-trade accounts
- Support ambitious distribution growth targets through regular coordination and reporting
