Hiring: Head of Logistics – ReFarm™

Are you ready to lead the logistics revolution in sustainable agriculture?

ReFarm™, a division of the SSK Group, is looking for a strategic and highly analytical Head of Logistics to join our senior operations leadership team. This is a pivotal role responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods across our innovative supply chain.

As the Head of Logistics, you will oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and fulfillment strategies to ensure our products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and manage end-to-end supply chain strategies. Set logistics goals, manage vendor/carrier relationships, and implement systems to improve visibility and reliability.
Operational Excellence: Oversee core functions including warehousing, inventory management, and logistics flow from suppliers to end customers.
Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock. Control logistics expenses while maintaining high service quality and meeting customer commitments.
Performance & Compliance: Analyze metrics and budgets, mitigate supply chain risks, and ensure full compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Team Management: Lead and coach a high-performing logistics team, setting clear objectives and fostering professional growth.
Innovation & Sustainability: Adapt the supply chain to technological changes, optimize routes to reduce energy consumption, and implement sustainable solutions to reduce environmental impacts.
Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, sales, and production to align logistics with broader company objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in procurement, general operations, or specific industry logistics.
Competencies: Strong analytical skills, strategic leadership, and excellent communication. Deep understanding of international supply chain standards (ISO), customs regulations, and regulatory compliance.
Language: Minimum C1 level English proficiency.

Technical Mastery:

We are looking for a candidate with advanced technical expertise in:

ERP Systems: SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or IFS.
Management Software: Proficiency in WMS (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder), TMS (e.g., JDA, Transporeon), and Planning/Forecasting tools (e.g., SAP APO).
Analytics & Optimization: Mastery of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and simulation tools (CPLEX, FICO Xpress) for cost and route optimization.
Compliance: Experience with traceability and compliance solutions like Descartes or TraceLink.
