Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating supply chain activities, managing inventory, organizing shipment schedules, liaising with vendors and clients, and ensuring smooth and efficient transportation processes. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze logistics operations for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage transportation, shipping, and logistics operations.
- Coordinate inland transportation within the MENA region.
- Handle import, re-export, and cross-trade shipments including temporary imports into UAE and Oman.
- Arrange freight movements via Air, Sea, Courier, and Road transport.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers for shipment preparation and delivery.
- Obtain necessary permits for oversized cargo and ensure compliance with customs procedures.
- Maintain logistics schedules and shipment tracking.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant logistics experience in similar industries.
- Well versed in Airfreight, Seafreight, Courier, and Road transportation within MENA.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes in UAE and Oman.
