Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Procurement & Logistics Specialist with solid experience in managing both logistics (60%) and procurement (40%) functions, specifically in project-based environments such as energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and managing the supply of technical materials including electrical equipment, cables, transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, and related components.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7–8 years of combined experience in procurement and logistics, with a focus on project-based sourcing.
- Strong understanding of electrical and industrial material procurement processes.
- Proficient in SAP ERP systems and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or equivalent.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in energy, utilities, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics (60%)
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for the timely and cost-effective delivery of project materials.
- Manage international and local shipments, customs documentation, and compliance.
- Interface with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all logistics activities.
Procurement (40%)
- Execute procurement activities for technical materials based on project specifications and timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for quality, price competitiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in alignment with project and company requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accuracy of material specifications and delivery schedules.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Supply Chain Manager, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers to align procurement and logistics strategies with project needs.
