What you’ll do:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cross-Border Logistics Manager to lead the setup, management, and optimization of international trading routes between Riyadh/Dubai and key regions including Eastern Europe, Africa, and North America. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in cross-border e-commerce logistics, with a deep understanding of customs regulations, regional compliance, and trading practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient cross-border logistics strategies for high-priority trading lanes (Riyadh/Dubai ↔ Eastern Europe, Africa, North America).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.
- Manage customs documentation, HS codes, import/export compliance, and regional trade regulations.
- Identify and onboard best-fit logistics service providers; negotiate favourable SLAs and pricing.
- Monitor and analyse logistics performance; optimize cost, transit time, and service quality.
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and tech teams to ensure seamless cross-border supply chain integration.
- Maintain strong relationships with regional partners and stay abreast of evolving trade policies and market practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-border e-commerce logistics, preferably within a regional marketplace or logistics service provider.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and regional compliance requirements (GCC, EU, NAFTA, etc.).
- Experience managing end-to-end logistics for retail/e-commerce products.
- Proficient in MS Excel for tracking, cost modelling, and reporting.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across regions.
