Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting transactions including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Monitor and reconcile inventory movement (gold, diamonds, and other precious metals/stones) with accounting records.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Handle costing and valuation of jewellery stock based on karat, weight, and current market rates.
Manage petty cash and bank reconciliations.
Support team members on the VAT returns and ensure tax compliance as per UAE law
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
Supervise documentation for imports, exports, and customs declarations relevant to jewellery.
Support retail outlets with sales reconciliation and POS integration.
