We support end-to-end transportation, customs, and warehouse operations that enable timely, compliant movement of goods across the GCC.
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an on-site Logistics Coordinator based in the United Arab Emirates to manage day-to-day shipment activities, customs clearance, and inventory control for client engagements and internal operations. This role suits a detail-oriented operator who can execute tactical logistics tasks, maintain documentation, and drive service-level performance with carriers and vendors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound/outbound shipments (air, sea, road) to ensure on-time delivery and accurate status updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and validate shipping documentation—B/L, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists—and support customs clearance processes in UAE ports and free zones.
- Manage day-to-day communication with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and warehouse teams to resolve exceptions and delays.
- Maintain inventory records and warehouse movements in ERP/WMS; perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor logistics KPIs (OTD, dwell time, freight cost variance) and prepare concise operational reports for managers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms, import/export regulations and company SOPs; escalate risks and propose corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply-chain coordination—experience in UAE/GCC markets preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of customs documentation, import/export compliance and Incoterms.
- Practical experience with ERP or WMS systems and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, reporting).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; able to work on-site across UAE.
Preferred
- Experience working with 3PLs, carrier quoting, freight cost analysis and basic negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with KPI dashboards, process improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen) or logistics SOP development.
