Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Coordinator located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Freight Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the import and export of goods, managing and overseeing freight shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Daily responsibilities include preparing shipping documents, communicating with clients and vendors, providing excellent customer service, and resolving any shipping-related issues promptly. The Freight Coordinator will also liaise with customs officials to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Freight management, Import, and Export processes
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in the shipping or logistics industry is advantageous
