A well-established, Dubai-based Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions Provider—renowned for its end-to-end freight forwarding, project logistics, and global trade services—is looking to hire a Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and client acquisition across the UAE market.
Job description:
We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to expand our client base and promote our full suite of logistics services, focusing on Air Freight, Dangerous Goods (DG) Handling, Warehousing Solutions, Cross Stuffing Operations, and Customs Brokerage.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Develop and manage a pipeline of new clients across air freight, DG cargo, warehousing, and cross-stuffing services in Jebel Ali etc.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture and grow long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize retention and upselling.
- Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and GOP targets.
- Lead Generation: Conduct regular field visits, cold calls, and meetings; convert leads into active business.
- Quotation & Pricing: Prepare competitive quotations; negotiate rates with carriers, shipping lines, and agents.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records for all sales activity, forecasts, and client interactions.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with Operations, Documentation, and Finance to ensure service excellence and timely collections.
- Cross-Selling: Promote the full suite of services including air/sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and project cargo.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–4 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics (UAE experience preferred).
- Familiarity with DG cargo regulations, air freight procedures, and warehouse operations.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE trade lanes, shipping terms (Incoterms), and freight pricing structures.
- Client Base: Existing database of potential clients or demonstrable success in acquiring new customers.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to close high-value deals and generate 3–4x Gross Operating Profit (GOP).
- Communication: Excellent English . Strong negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Mobility: Valid UAE Driving License is a must. Willingness to travel within the UAE for client visits.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and ERP
- Candidates must be able to take a consultative sale approach.
