JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the smooth execution of C&F operations by coordinating logistics activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the C&F team in achieving efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1 Coordinating with the supplier’s sales and logistic team, checking the orders, making the shipping bookings and validating all the documents.
2 Negotiating to get the best freight quotes and nominating the most convenient and economical freight forwarder for the shipments, while maintaining the efficiency and SOP of the related operations.
3 Sharing the rates with division and get the approval on rates.
4 Responsibility towards getting the shipments cleared at customs, Dubai municipality, ministry of health/environment/economic OR any legal authority. Follow up with shipper and forwarder for cargo collection, vessel sailing.
5 Preparing the FIRS and following up with the inspections and getting sale approvals for food products, cosmetics/Non-food products and making MOH payments and processing import permits for pharmaceutical products.
6 Preparing costing in oracle and enter all expenses. E-dirham and cash payments and vendor bill reconciliation.
7 Arranging the transportation from JAFZA / Cargo Village to DIP Coordinating with the warehouse to book slots for delivery and offload.
8 Managing shipment tracker reports and performance measurement of forwarding
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
- Graduate in related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in UAE
- Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
- Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
