About the role
Food People has partnered with an FMCG company that is seeking to appoint an International Director as part of its further expansion plans into new markets. This position will play a key role in growing the partnerships globally
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the development of the International department’s strategy and goals, as well as establish and drive the execution of initiatives and plans to meet them
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Manage distributor relationships and ensure the supply chain has no gaps
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on strategies and achieve targets
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, channels, and markets, both regionally and globally
- Stay informed with industry developments and updates.
Key Ingredients
- Strong commercial/international growth experience in the food industry
- Have experience with the global markets outside of the Middle East (Preferably APAC, USA, or Europe)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute growth plans
- An analytical mindset and being comfortable with numbers
- Able to manage a team and possess problem-solving skills
