About the Client:
A Dubai-based enterprise, with a continuously growing portfolio of various industries including luxury fashion, couture accessories, and lifestyle brands.
Job Description:
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations. Responsible for coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and maintaining accurate import/export documentation.
- Prepare and verify all shipping, customs, and regulatory documentation (Invoice, Packing List, COO, Certificate of Conformity.
- Liaise with Dubai Customs, Free Zone Authorities, and relevant government bodies.
- Maintain records for all import/export transactions and documents for audit readiness. Generate /Update regular reports on incoming/outgoing shipments, costs, and lead times
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in import/export operations within the UAE, preferably in Wholesale Fashion, FMCG, or retail logistics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics /Logistics& Supply Chain/International Business or Business Administration; or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs and port procedures (Dubai Customs, JAFZA, DAFZA), including import licenses, duty exemptions, and HS code classifications.
- Proficiency in ERP or logistics systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) is a plus.
