We’re partnering with a leading global professional services firm in Dublin, they're expanding their Customs & International Trade team and are looking for an Customs Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in customs compliance who enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving trade environment.
As a Customs Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to support and manage clients’ customs compliance requirements, delivering high-quality advisory and operational support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and advise on end-to-end customs operations (including outsourced models)
- Review import/export declarations (classification, valuation, origin)
- Engage with customs authorities and external stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates for clients
- Ensure and enhance internal compliance controls
- Work with special procedures (IPR, OPR, Customs Warehousing)
- Contribute to AEO-related activities
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate across internal teams
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in customs / international trade compliance
- Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations
- Experience managing customs operations with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with ERP systems and strong IT skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
