- At KWE we’re looking for an Air Export Co Ordinator who has a deep understanding of Air Freight operations. In this role you will provide full support in the day-to-day operations of the department from booking shipments with airlines, tracking shipments and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full end to end air freight exports
- Prepare all necessary documentation, invoices, air waybills and customs declarations
- Checks post flights daily and deal effectively with all queries/discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with internal and overseas coworkers, customers and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and staying up to date on relevant policies
- Review supplier invoices and action any CASS queries
- Establish & maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring clients are informed throughout the shipment lifecycle
- Meets or exceeds customer service standards for both internal and external customers
Skills/ Experience:
- 2 / 4 years’ experience as an Air Exports Coordinator
- Knowledge of customs procedures
- Experience and knowledge of the freight forwarding sector
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and reporting skills
- Effective time management, planning and organisational skills
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Ability to work in a pressurised and dynamic environment
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently as well as contributing to ensuring the effective performance of the team
An advantage but not essential
- Dangerous Goods certification.
- Trained on ACSP preferable
- Experience processing temperature-controlled shipments
