About the Role
NH Investment & Securities America is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Global Equities Trading (GET) Desk in New York. The GET Desk manages a range of integrated functions across U.S. equity markets, and this role will contribute across those areas in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Global Equity Trading desk’s day-to-day trading operations and client-related workflows
- Assist in processing and managing trade-related requests across the trade lifecycle
- Efficiently handle both incoming and outgoing calls to provide customers with prompt assistance
- Provide excellent client service and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional way
- Effectively communicating with clearing firms, custodian banks and Head office to mitigate regulatory risk
- Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and firm policies, including trade monitoring
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market products, and relevant regulatory developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial markets, trade lifecycle, and settlement practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean to effectively communicate with all levels of counterparties
- Previous experiences in client-facing roles are highly desirable
- Must maintain the confidentiality of all information received and distributed
- Self-motivated individual that is detail oriented and can accurately complete work within required time frames under minimum supervision
- Must possess the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and document those findings in a clear and concise report
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
- Outstanding Excel skills in a fast-paced work environment
- Desire to learn more in-depth about financial markets and the sales & trading field
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered, or must be obtained within 180 days of employment
- Bilingual – fluent in both English and Korean (required)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
