The Job:
We are currently working alongside a distributor of luxury products based in Dublin 15 to hire a Warehouse Distribution Manager. You will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the Dublin warehouse, ensuring operations are efficient, accurate, and aligned with the highest standards.
You will oversee all inbound and outbound logistics, including goods receiving, inspection, repacking, and export preparation. You will manage shipping and customs processes end-to-end, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed on time. This is a hands-on role within a growing team, requiring strong leadership, organisation, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Oversee quality control, goods inspection, and export preparation to strict standards
- Take full responsibility for shipping, dispatch, and customs compliance
- Coordinate transport and ensure timely, safe delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to procedures and health & safety standards
- Lead, support, and develop a small warehouse team
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and resolve operational or shipping issues proactively
About You
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management
- Strong knowledge of international shipping and customs processes
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure
- A collaborative team player with leadership capability
- Customer-focused, with a clear understanding of logistics’ impact on service delivery
- Adaptable and forward-thinking, with a drive to improve processes and performance
