About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain activities, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of goods, including shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
- Schedule and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to maintain smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, update records, and ensure accurate stock management.
- Prepare shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and invoices as required.
- Communicate with internal departments to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local/international logistics laws.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate reports and records of all logistics activities, including transportation costs, delivery schedules, and inventory movement.
- Handle any ad-hoc logistics tasks as assigned by the operations manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
