We’re hiring Tour Consultants and Corporate Ticketing Officers
We are looking for an experienced Tour Consultant to manage and coordinate travel arrangements for our clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of tour packages, destinations, and supplier coordination, with the ability to design customised itineraries that meet client preferences and budgets. A strong background in customer service, sales, and travel planning is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel/tour needs, preferences, budget, and special requirements.
- Research destinations, accommodation, transport, attractions, local events, customs, weather and visa/regulatory information.
- Design tailor-made itineraries including flights, hotels, transfers, activities, tours.
- Negotiate with suppliers (hotels, ground operators, transport providers) to secure competitive rates and quality services.
- Book and confirm all travel components, ensuring accuracy of details (dates, names, special requests).
- Maintain relationships with clients before, during and after the trip; handle any issues or changes.
- Upsell additional services (travel insurance, excursions, upgrades) to achieve revenue targets.
- Keep accurate records of bookings, payments, invoices, cancellations and client data.
- Stay up to date with emerging travel/trend information, destination knowledge and industry regulations.
- Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets for your assigned portfolio or segment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Previous experience (1-3 years or more) in travel/tour consulting, travel agency or similar role.
- Strong destination knowledge (domestic/international) and travel product understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple bookings/clients at once.
- Sales acumen – ability to advise, persuade and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency with travel booking systems, GDS/CRS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Arabic and/or other languages is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work as required and adapt to travel industry demands.
- Passion for travel and good understanding of travel trends and regulations.
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Ticketing Officer to handle all aspects of air ticketing for our business travellers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, fare calculations, and ticket issuance for both domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue, reissue, and cancel airline tickets using GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Provide fare quotations, itineraries, and routing options based on corporate travel requests.
- Ensure ticketing accuracy, compliance with travel policies, and timely delivery.
- Handle schedule changes, flight rebookings, and refunds efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline fare rules, promotions, and travel regulations.
- Coordinate with airlines and travel partners to resolve ticketing issues.
- Prepare travel and billing reports for internal departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in air ticketing, preferably in a corporate or travel agency setting.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus and Travel port is a must).
- Strong understanding of airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and IATA regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in ticket processing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
