Job description:
- Direct and coordinate sales order processing and shipment activities
- Direct and coordinate material receiving and warehousing activities
- Plan Logistics resource requirements and training needs
- Provide input to Management pertaining to needs of Logistics Team
- Support the Supply and Logistics operation, covering materials planning, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution
- Negotiate, source and purchase materials from suppliers for production, and evaluate vendor quotes and materials to qualify best available suppliers that will meet company quality requirements.
- Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability and reduce shipping cost.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and prevent shortages or excess stock.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum2-3 years’ experience in the UAE procurement, purchasing, logistics section with local and international suppliers in Healthcare Sector.
- Understanding the concept of shipping involving clearance, customs regulations, MOH requirements etc.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an additional advantage).
