As a Logistics Lead at Pure Harvest Smart Farms Management LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, materials, and equipment across our farming operations and distribution channels. You will coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize delivery schedules, manage inventory flows, and uphold the company’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Import & Export Management
- Oversee all import/export documentation and ensure full compliance with UAE and KSA customs, SFDA, MOCCAE, and other relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport partners to ensure on-time delivery.
- Optimize import/export processes to minimize clearance times and costs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local regulations, tariffs, and logistics requirements in both UAE and KSA.
- Identify and secure the required documentation and licenses to open new markets.
Logistics Operations
- Lead end-to-end logistics planning and execution for domestic and cross-border shipments.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, route planning, and distribution between farms, warehouses, and customer locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers and local transport partners.
- Monitor and report logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, cost per shipment, and turnaround time.
- Oversee fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and diesel usage.
- Track truck utilization and efficiency to optimize asset performance.
- Lead and implement logistics automation initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance and prepare accurate, timely logistics reports.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Supervise warehouse operations in both UAE and KSA, ensuring proper handling, storage, and dispatch of fresh produce and materials.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and system updates.
- Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO systems to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics in alignment with production and sales forecasts.
- Maintain adequate safety stock levels to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw and packed materials while limiting variances to target levels.
- Conduct monthly cycle counts and monitor stock movements to prevent losses and discrepancies.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all logistics and warehouse operations comply with health, safety, food safety, and biosecurity standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Support ERP system utilization for inventory and logistics tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and present regular logistics performance reports and data-driven analysis to management.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics and warehouse management within the UAE and/or KSA.
- Proven experience with import/export procedures and regulatory compliance in both countries.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong negotiation, planning, and coordination skills with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and customs officials.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Background in agriculture, FMCG, or food distribution preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
