We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our UAE office in Dubai. This individual will play a key role in managing container shipments and ensuring smooth coordination of deliveries from Pakistan to our distributors and customers across the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor container shipments from Pakistan to distributors across the United States.
- Follow up with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and U.S. distributors to ensure timely shipment and delivery updates.
- Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensure all related shipping documents are accurate and compliant.
- Obtain, compare, and negotiate freight quotes with various carriers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with customers, keeping them informed of shipment status, ETAs, and delivery progress.
- Maintain a strong understanding of U.S. geography to anticipate regional logistics dynamics and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to align shipping schedules with purchase orders and production timelines.
- Proactively identify potential shipment delays and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of shipment documentation, communication logs, and freight rate archives.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, shipping, or freight forwarding (preferably in international trade).
- Strong understanding of BOL issuance, export documentation, and container tracking systems.
- Excellent follow-up and communication skills — both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and shipment tracking platforms.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the United States, including key port cities, logistics hubs, and regional distribution routes.
- High level of organization, accuracy, and accountability in handling multiple shipments at once.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across time zones with teams in Pakistan and the U.S.
