Role Overview
We are hiring a Procurement & Logistics Specialist with at least three years of experience in apparel, consumer goods, or e-commerce supply chains. The role manages the full operational cycle: supplier purchasing, production follow-up, inbound logistics, customs, and warehouse coordination. Objective: secure cost-efficient, on-time product flow with full visibility from PO to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
• Issue and manage purchase orders with suppliers across Europe and Asia.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead times, payment terms.
• Track production status, enforce delivery schedules, flag risks early.
• Maintain accurate costing sheets, landed-cost calculations, and SKU data.
Logistics
• Coordinate international shipments (air/sea/express) with freight forwarders.
• Oversee documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, COO, certificates.
• Manage import processes into UAE, EU, UK; ensure compliance with customs and duties.
• Monitor transit times, resolve delays, and maintain OTIF standards.
• Coordinate inbound flow with warehouse: ASN, receiving, QC issues, stock discrepancies.
Inventory & Operations
• Maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouses (UAE + Italy).
• Support demand planning by providing supplier lead time, capacity, and production constraints.
• Track operational KPIs: landed cost accuracy, supplier performance, OTIF, stock accuracy, shrinkage.
• Ensure correct product setup: SKU codes, dimensions, packaging specs.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics within apparel, retail, or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of international supply chains, customs, Incoterms, and freight operations.
• Experience managing Asian and European suppliers.
• Solid command of landed-cost models, duty structures, and margin impact.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets, ERP/WMS systems, and freight portals.
• Strong ownership, precision, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• English fluency required; Italian is a plus.
