Job Summary:- The Customs Clearance & Sales Officer is responsible for handling all import and export customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with relevant authorities. Additionally, the role involves sales activities, including managing client relationships, preparing quotations, and achieving sales targets. The officer acts as a key link between the company, customs authorities, shipping agents, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:1. Customs Clearance Responsibilities- Prepare all required documentation for customs clearance (invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Process import and export clearance according to local customs regulations.
- Coordinate with customs offices, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
- Enter and update shipment details in customs systems and company platforms.
- Verify accuracy of documents and ensure compliance with customs rules.
- Handle issues related to shipment delays, fines, or customs violations.
- Follow up on cargo release procedures and prepare status reports for ongoing shipments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs laws and procedures.
2. Sales Responsibilities- Identify and target new customers to expand the client base.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and follow up on their needs.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and closure of sales orders.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Participate in developing sales strategies and exploring new business opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and market insights.

Qualifications & Experience:- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in customs clearance (or as required).
- Experience in sales, preferably within logistics, shipping, or freight services.
