Core Purpose of the Role:
The primary focus of this role is to manage customs brokerage and documentation processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The role also involves maintaining high standards in customer service and ensuring compliance with customs regulations, particularly within Free Zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customs Brokerage & Clearance: Handle end-to-end Bill of Entry (BOE) processes for both Free Zones and Mainland.
- BOE Tracking & Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date BOE records using Microsoft Excel.
- Customer KPI Management: Ensure customer KPIs are consistently met (95%-100%).
- Delivery Order (DO) Coordination:
- Liaise with shipping lines and airlines for DO collection.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to arrange funds for DO processing.
- Customer Service & Support: Address day-to-day customer requirements efficiently.
- Compliance & Self-Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of Free Zone customs regulations and ensure adherence.
- Job Closing & Reporting: Complete job processes within the KPI framework and ensure timely documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on experience in customs BOE processing (Free Zone & Mainland).
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and Free Zone customs requirements.
- Experience in shipping line and airline coordination.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Strong customer focus, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
