The Opportunity
We are looking for a technical customs expert with the commercial hunger of a business developer. This isn't just a compliance role—it is a strategic leadership position. You will act as a senior advisor to key clients while spearheading our growth through targeted outreach and high-level consultancy.
The Role: Expert Advice & Strategic Growth
You will consult on end-to-end outsourced customs operations, ensuring precision in tariff classification, valuation, and complex procedures (IPR, OPR, Customs Warehousing).
- Business Development: Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities through targeted outreach, lead generation, and professional networking.
- Client Leadership: Partake in consultative discovery sessions and deliver tailored training/solutions that solve complex supply chain challenges.
- Strategic Influence: Drive RFQs and tender processes while collaborating on marketing initiatives to position the firm as a market leader.
- Balance technical execution with proactive business expansion:
You will have achieved experience as an
- An Expert in Customs Compliance.
- Strong Communicator to translate "customs-speak" into commercial value for clients.
- Active Learner with a proactive mindset—technically confident but always evolving alongside shifting global trade regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in Customs/Trade Compliance, including Client Success.
- Academics: Degree in Business, Trade, or a related discipline.
- Mobility: Based in Ireland with a full, clean driver’s license (travel to clients required).
- Tech Savvy: Strong AI skills; experience with ERP and customs software.
